Citadelle de Besançon

The Citadelle de Besançon is a Vauban fortress listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site, located in Besançon in the Doubs. It houses three museums labeled "Musées de France": the Musée comtois, dedicated to dialogue between cultures and societies; the Muséum, which presents varied animal spaces and focuses on biodiversity; and the Museum of Resistance and Deportation, designed as a civic tool for history. The site also offers various activities, including treasure hunts, escape games, and guided tours. The Citadelle functions as a global heritage space combining visits to the Vauban monument and access to these three museum institutions.

Centre Pompidou-Metz

The Centre Pompidou-Metz is an art museum and cultural center located in Metz, in the Bourgogne-Franche-Comté region. It is part of the decentralization policy of collections and exhibitions of the Paris Centre Pompidou. A modern and contemporary art museum, it offers temporary exhibitions and acquisitions related to twentieth and twenty-first century art. Musée de L'Aventure Peugeot

The Peugeot Adventure Museum, located in Sochaux in the Doubs, is an institution dedicated to preserving the industrial and automotive heritage of the Lion brand. Its collections present more than two centuries of history, from the company's origins in the early nineteenth century to the present day, including saw blades, coffee mills, sewing machines and tools that constituted the company's first activities. The museum also displays a significant collection of vehicles from all periods: classic automobiles, sports cars and concept cars. Managed by L'Aventure, a non-profit association dedicated to promoting the heritage of automotive brands, the museum offers exhibition spaces, a brasserie and reception services for events. It is part of a broader heritage network that includes the Terre Blanche Archives Center and the Citroën & DS collections.

Musée des Beaux-Arts de Dijon

The Dijon Fine Arts Museum, also known as the Rude Museum, is an art museum located in Dijon in Côte-d'Or. It holds the label. Its collections encompass a broad spectrum of fields, including painting, sculpture, applied arts, and archaeology. Among its remarkable works are notably "The Departure of the Volunteers of 1792," commonly called "The Marseillaise," as well as sculpture pieces and archaeological objects. Grande Saline de Salins-les-Bains

The Great Salt Works of Salins-les-Bains is a site museum located in the rural Jura region, inscribed on the Unesco World Heritage list. It bears witness to twelve centuries of industrial history dedicated to salt extraction and processing, illustrating technological evolution and the sustained exploitation of a natural resource. The museum occupies historic production buildings and offers guided tours providing access to a twelfth-century underground gallery, where a nineteenth-century bucket wheel still operates, pumping salt water from the depths. The collections and architecture of the site document the technical and working-class memory of this manufactory among the oldest in France. Salins-les-Bains, located in the Jura, is accessible near Besançon and Dole.
