The Gautron du Coudray Municipal Museum is located in Marzy, in Nièvre, in an 18th-century building that has occupied the former presbytery opposite the Saint-André church since 1995. Founded in 1938 by Victor Gautron du Coudray, a Nivernais scholar and collector, the museum houses collections of natural history, minerals and fossils, supplemented over time by objects from agricultural and viticultural daily life, as well as pieces of furniture and works by regional artists and writers. Its collections notably include a Berrichon bagpipe and various objects. The museum offers approximately three temporary exhibitions per year and guided tours on request. Admission is free and the establishment is open from 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM, closed on Tuesdays and public holidays.
