The Abbey Museum is located in Saint-Claude, in Upper Burgundy-Franche-Comté. Its collections combine archaeology and fine arts, enriched by donations from Guy Bardone and René Genis, whose history is central to its formation. The museum occupies the building of the former abbey and has an important archaeological basement bearing witness to the medieval history of the site. Located in the heart of the Upper Jura, between Geneva and Lyon, the museum offers a tour mixing archaeological remains and modern works, complemented by a regular program of temporary exhibitions and cultural activities.
