Musée Air Saint Lup

Coteaux du Lizon · Jura · Bourgogne-Franche-Comté

The Air Saint Lup Museum is a museum dedicated to scale models of commercial aircraft and associated advertising objects, located in the former Bourbon factory in Saint Lupicin, in the Jura. The collection, built from a personal collection, brings together more than one hundred airlines represented by agency models and desk models, covering almost all existing or former commercial aircraft. The museum also presents historical advertising objects that accompanied these models, such as pennants, menus and documents, as well as a collection of Bourbon advertising heritage reflecting object-based advertising from the 1950s to 1980s. Located 15 km from Saint-Claude and near Lyon and Geneva, the museum offers a perspective on the history of commercial aviation and twentieth-century advertising design.
