Maison du Parc naturel régional du Haut-Jura

Lajoux · Jura · Bourgogne-Franche-Comté

The House of the Haut-Jura Regional Nature Park, located in Lajoux, is the administrative headquarters of the Park and a public reception, information and visitor center. It hosts a permanent exhibition entitled "Haut-Jura, Living Land!" offering playful, sensory and interactive installations that explore the region's landscapes, wetlands and forests. The site also includes a screening room dedicated to a sound immersion experience entitled "The Song of the Risoux Forest", as well as an educational reception area for school groups. The architectural heritage of the site is enriched by the presence of a fortified granary, a traditional 18th-century Jurassian structure that once served as a family safe. A gift shop offers books, hiking maps and local products from Park producers bearing the Park Values brand.
