The Ronchamp Mining Museum is a site museum located at the former Ronchamp coal mine site in Loire. It documents two centuries of coal mining in the region, from the mid-18th century until the mine's closure in 1958. The collections, assembled by Dr. Marcel Maulini, a former mine physician, illustrate extraction techniques, the tools used, and miners' working conditions. The museum also presents the social dimensions of mining life in Ronchamp. It offers visits and educational spaces designed to promote knowledge of this regional industrial heritage.
