The Stoneware Museum is housed in several rooms of a Renaissance château located in Saint-Amand-en-Puisaye, in Nièvre. It traces four centuries of history around a collection of utilitarian stoneware, a material that profoundly shaped the local landscape and societies. It is part of the rural territory of Puisaye-Forterre. The museum bears witness to the ceramic traditions and daily life of this region of Bourgogne-Franche-Comté.
