The Regional House of Table Arts is a museum dedicated to food, gastronomy, and the culinary arts, established since 1981 in the former Saint-Pierre Hospices of Arnay-le-Duc, in Côte-d'Or. A historic building dating from 1693-1695, the site comprises a main building, a chapel, and a garden housing medicinal and aromatic plants. The museum hosts each year a thematic exhibition lasting more than seven months, complemented by permanent collections since 2020, exploring tableware, culinary traditions, table objects, and gastronomic practices across different regions and periods. The exhibitions address varied themes: Nivernais earthenware, beer glasses, contemporary creations, or the uses of aromatic and medicinal plants. The museum stands out as a unique undertaking in France, bringing together around the same theme the table trades and culinary arts.
