The Museum of the Combattant of Haute-Saône is located in Luxeuil-les-Bains, in Haute-Saône. This establishment traces French military history through more than 200 m² of objects and documents covering the conflicts in which French soldiers participated from the 1870 war to the present day. The museum also presents the history of Luxeuil-les-Bains Air Base 116, one of the oldest in France, as well as anecdotes and a collection of remarkable objects, including an authentic jacket that belonged to Charles de Gaulle. Managed by volunteers, the museum offers group visits upon request and is open on Saturdays from April to October, as well as on the commemorative days of May 8, July 14, and November 11.
