Grand'Combe-Châteleu · Doubs · Bourgogne-Franche-Comté

The Farm-Museum of Grand'Combe-Châteleu, located in the heart of the Upper Doubs near the Swiss border, is an establishment dedicated to Comtois folk arts and traditions. Managed by the Association of Folk Arts and Traditions of Beugnon, the museum presents a Comtois farm known as a "slaughterhouse farm" as well as a workshop-farm illustrating three traditional crafts. Located in the cordiers district, characterized by the authenticity and concentration of its old farms, the site offers access to built heritage and regional know-how. Visits are conducted exclusively in groups with a guide, lasting an average of one hour thirty to two hours. Open year-round for groups of at least ten people, the museum also offers summer programming with occasional visits on school holiday days.
