The Museum of Electricity of Burgundy, dedicated to Hippolyte Fontaine, is a scientific establishment located in Saint-Apollinaire in Côte-d'Or. Created in 1992 by the ACEL association, it brings together collections documenting the applications and evolution of electricity, built up gradually through donations. The museum offers varied themes: household appliances, industry, lighting, sound and image, as well as telephony. It welcomes the public free of charge, in self-guided or guided tours, and has facilities adapted for people with disabilities. Its operation relies entirely on volunteers.
