The Georges Borias Municipal Museum is a museum located in Uzès, in the Gard department. Housed in the former Bishop's Palace, it brings together multidisciplinary collections covering archaeology, ceramics, painting, drawing and photography, with a particular interest in the local history of the Uzège region. The museum is notably known for its collection relating to André Gide and his family ties to the region, as well as for its collections dedicated to ceramics and traditional local pottery. It regularly offers temporary exhibitions, thematic guided tours, workshops and educational activities for school and family audiences. The museum places particular emphasis on cultural and educational initiatives, in partnership with schools in the region and local stakeholders.
