Casa Pairal is a social history museum dedicated to Catalan folk arts and traditions. Located in the Castillet, a historic monument classified since 1889 that overlooks Place Verdun in Perpignan, the museum offers an overview of daily life and the intangible heritage of northern Catalonia. The original museum design, created in 1963 by Georges Henri Rivière based on the model of the National Museum of Popular Arts and Traditions, was revisited in 2014 while preserving evocative spaces such as the kitchen of the Mas Gleix farmhouse. The third floor is dedicated to new forms of mediation and digital content. The institution also has a library and documentation center.
