Musée de la porte de Thann

The Thann Gate Museum is an archaeological site museum located in Cernay, in the Upper Rhine. Managed by the Society for History and Archaeology of Cernay and Surroundings. The museum offers several permanent exhibition spaces and regularly organizes temporary exhibitions devoted to local history and regional heritage. Its collections and programs explore in particular the architectural and religious history of Cernay, especially the reconstruction of the city after World War I, as well as themes related to fine arts and Alsatian traditions.
