The Bucheneck Museum, located in the castle of the same name listed as a historic monument, is dedicated to the local history of Soultz and its notable families. The permanent exhibition is organized around seven thematic rooms spread over several floors, highlighting in particular the Knights of Malta, the Waldner de Freundstein family, the Heeckeren d'Anthès family, and the contributions of local illustrators and scholars. The collections include a monumental model of the city in 1838, archival documents, liturgical and civil clothing, antique furniture objects, as well as an evocation of the trades and daily life of the past.
