The Christian Dior Museum occupies the Villa Les Rhumbs, the fashion designer's childhood home, located in Granville in Manche, on the heights of a cliff overlooking the sea. It explores the influence of this place and its landscapes on Christian Dior's creative work, from fashion design to perfume and interior decoration. The museum presents each year a renewed thematic exhibition throughout all the floors of the villa, complemented by the preservation and study of its collections. The establishment also offers a garden freely accessible year-round and a program of educational activities intended for children and adults. The visiting period generally extends from April to November, with weekly closure on Tuesdays.
