Juno Beach Centre is the Canadian museum dedicated to World War II, located in Courseulles-sur-Mer in Normandy. Founded in 2003 by veterans and volunteers, it preserves the memory of 45,000 Canadians who died during the conflict, including 5,500 during the Battle of Normandy. The centre fulfills an educational and commemorative mission, documenting Canadian involvement through permanent and temporary exhibitions. It serves as a place of remembrance and learning dedicated to future generations, hosting exhibitions, lectures and commemorative events around the landing of June 6, 1944.
