Musée
Châtenois · Bas-Rhin · Grand Est

The House of the Distiller is a museum dedicated to spirits and Alsatian whisky, located in Châtenois in Bas-Rhin, at the gateway to the Val de Villé in the foothills of the Vosges. Created by Meyer Distillery, a family-owned and independent business, this museum space traces the history of fruit brandy producers, a traditional practice in the region for two centuries. The museum combines historical and contemporary approaches, offering several thematic spaces: historical space, imaginative space, "from fruit to spirit" and "from barrel to glass" pathways. The scenography combines traditional presentations around stills and interactive digital tools. A shop completes the visit.
