The Hugues de Payns Museum, located in Payns in Aube, is dedicated to the history of the Order of the Templars in Champagne. Supported by the Hugues de Payns cultural association in partnership with the municipality and the department of Aube, this museum is part of a project to reconstruct a Templar commandery, or temple house, as it existed in the medieval period. The reconstruction is based on scientific data from archaeological excavations carried out on the site. The museum welcomes visitors for guided tours that allow them to discover this Champagne Templar heritage and its local historical context.
