The Museum of Wood Crafts is a museum dedicated to traditional knowledge and crafts of woodworking, located in Labaroche in Alsace (Haut-Rhin). The collections present tools, machines and ancient techniques related to forestry and wood crafts, including a section devoted to wooden toys. The museum is characterized by educational guided tours during which certain historical machines, particularly a steam engine, are put into operation. Visitors can explore different themes: the forest and its resources, forgotten crafts, ingenious machines and collector's pieces. The museum offers family and school group accommodations, with guides in French and the possibility of visits in German and English by reservation for groups.
