The Museum of Wood Crafts is a museum dedicated to traditional knowledge and crafts of woodworking, located in Labaroche in Alsace (Haut-Rhin). The collections present tools, machines and ancient techniques related to forestry and wood crafts, including a section devoted to wooden toys. The museum is characterized by educational guided tours during which certain historical machines, particularly a steam engine, are put into operation. Visitors can explore different themes: the forest and its resources, forgotten crafts, ingenious machines and collector's pieces.
