The Colmar Pocket Battles Memorial Museum is located in Turckheim, in the heart of the Upper Rhine. Created in 1994, it is dedicated to the history of the battles that led to the liberation of Alsace in autumn 1944, following the arrival of General De Lattre's Army B in August 1944. The museum houses a collection of objects and documents that reconstruct, day by day, the key moments of this regional battle. Its exhibitions showcase accessories and material remains from this period, offering visitors a chronological approach to the events. More than a history museum, it serves a memorial function, welcoming since its founding veterans, history associations, and school groups.
