The Ducastel-Vera Municipal Museum is a municipal museum located in Saint-Germain-en-Laye, in Yvelines. It manages several heritage spaces, including the Royal Apothecary, classified as a Historic Monument. The Apothecary constitutes a remarkable collection of original woodwork and more than two hundred thirty pieces of earthenware from the 17th and 18th centuries, complemented by glassware, measuring instruments and sculptures. It bears witness to the activity of the Royal General Hospital founded by Louis XIV in 1681 and the Charity established by Queen Marie-Thérèse. The museum occupies several heritage sites, including the Villa Eugénie-Désoyer, and offers free guided tours as well as a varied program of exhibitions and activities.
