The Alsace Firefighter Museum, located in Vieux-Ferrette in the Haut-Rhin, is dedicated to the history of firefighters and their equipment. Installed in two buildings totaling 2,300 m², it houses a collection of more than 260 engines and objects dating from 1648 to 1969. The collections include hand and steam pumps, vehicles, ladders, motor pumps, sidecars, as well as individual equipment such as 19th-century fire suits and French and foreign helmets. The museum also presents a reconstruction of the telephone switchboard from the former Mulhouse barracks. Labeled since 2003, it offers regular visits and group receptions by appointment.
