The Museum of La Cour d'Or is located in the heart of the city of Metz, in Moselle. It offers approximately 5,000 to 6,000 m² of exhibition space covering two millennia of Metz's history. Its collections are organized around four areas: Gallo-Roman remains, medieval art characterized in particular by its painted ceilings, paintings from the Metz school, and, since August 2025, the Biodiversity Pavilion dedicated to collections of taxidermied animals, herbals, and minerals. The museum offers guided tours, family workshops, and educational resources, particularly in Easy-to-Read and Easy-to-Understand format. Admission to the museum is free.
