Musée de Cire de Lourdes

Lourdes · Hautes-Pyrénées · Occitanie

The Wax Museum of Lourdes is a wax figure museum located in the heart of the city of Lourdes, near the Sanctuaries. It presents approximately one hundred wax figures, created by the workshops of the Grévin Museum of Paris, arranged in about twenty reconstructed scenes. The collections illustrate the history of Jesus and his apostles, the Marian apparitions to Bernadette, as well as significant historical figures of Christianity. The museum offers an audio-guided tour available in eight languages. This establishment, operating for more than fifty years, welcomes pilgrims and tourists on a seasonal basis, from Palm Sunday to All Saints' Day.
