The municipal museum of Bourbonne-les-Bains is located in the castle park in this thermal area of Haute-Marne. Its collections are organized around three main themes: Gallo-Roman remains from the ancient thermal city (approximately 40 displayed objects including a significant monetary collection of around 2,500 coins, ex-votos, funeral stelae and two sculpted oak heads), fine arts with painters of national interest such as René-Xavier Prinet and Clément Serveau, and various ethnographic objects complemented by a collection of over 200 taxidermied birds. The museum also hosts temporary exhibitions featuring regional artists or themes related to its collections. Open during peak season Tuesday to Friday from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., it shares its building with a media library and offers free admission.
