The Caen Memorial is a history museum dedicated to major events of the twentieth century. Located in Caen in Normandy, it offers permanent exhibitions centered on World War II, the Normandy Landings and the Battle of Normandy, as well as the Cold War. The collections include archives, a photographic collection, reconstructions and documentary spaces, complemented by a library accessible to visitors. The museum also has various facilities: catering, bookshop, educational spaces and memorial gardens. It also offers guided tours of the D-Day beaches and hosts temporary exhibitions exploring diverse historical themes.
