Le Conservatoire des Vieux Métiers

The Conservatory of Old Trades is a local history museum located in Saint-Père-en-Retz, in Loire-Atlantique. Occupying an area of 1500 m², it brings together approximately 3200 tools illustrating traditional professional practices. Some of these tools are animated, enriching the presentation of trades from times past. The conservatory is a member of the Departmental Federation of Agriculture and Rural Heritage Museums of Loire-Atlantique. The museum is open to the public in July and September, with group visits possible year-round by appointment.
