The Familistère of Guise is an on-site museum located in a rural area in the Aisne department, in the Hauts-de-France region. Created around the experimental project launched by Jean-Baptiste André Godin in the 19th century, it documents an adventure in social experimentation and architecture in service of workers. The museum presents the different spaces of the complex: the central pavilion, Godin's apartment, the laundry-swimming pool, the cooperatives and the Familistère theatre. It offers an exploration of the industry, living conditions and social innovation that characterized the site for more than a century. The site offers guided tours and various activities related to its theme.
