Henri Matisse's Family Home is a museum located in Bohain-en-Vermandois, in Aisne, in the Hauts-de-France region. Installed in the residence where the artist grew up, it constitutes a place of memory dedicated to the childhood and origins of the painter and sculptor fauvist. The museum offers an intimate view of the family environment and the influences that marked Matisse's youth before his major artistic development. This residential space transformed into a tourist attraction and heritage institution allows visitors to better understand the geographical and personal roots of one of the major figures of twentieth-century art.
