The Châlus Country Ecomuseum, located in the center of Châlus in Loire-Atlantique, is managed by the History and Archaeology Association of the Châlus Region. It presents a permanent exhibition devoted to rural life in the Limousin countryside during the 19th and 20th centuries, through ancient tools, period clothing and everyday objects. The institution is part of a local heritage enhancement approach, supplemented by seasonal themed exhibitions, lectures and guided tours organized by the association. Recognized under the Heritage Code, this ecomuseum is freely accessible to the public during the summer season.
