The Ocean City is a scientific museum located in Biarritz, in the Pyrénées-Atlantiques, dedicated to exploring the marine world. The museum offers immersive experiences combining virtual reality, simulators and 3D and 4D films, intended for audiences from 6 years old. Thematic activities cover marine biodiversity, the origins of the ocean, polar ecosystems and maritime myths. Visitors can explore underwater universes in 360°, experience surfing sensations in virtual reality or discover marine creatures in immersive environments. The museum also offers conferences and events, and is located near the Atlantic Ocean and Biarritz Aquarium.
