Strasbourg · Bas-Rhin · Grand Est

The Zoological Museum of Louis Pasteur University and the City of Strasbourg is a museum located in the heart of the city and university campus. This institution reopened in September 2025 after a six-year renovation carried out jointly by the City and the University. The museum offers an exploration of the diversity of life through its heritage collections, with an emphasis on the history of natural sciences, the functioning of ecosystems, and major environmental issues. The visit is structured around redesigned pathways, enriched with oral mediation and interactive multimedia devices. The museum complements its offerings with temporary exhibitions, regular cultural programming, educational workshops, and a specialized bookstore-shop.
