Musée régional

Les Vans · Ardèche · Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes

Located on the edge of the old town center of Les Vans, in Ardèche, the regional museum occupies the buildings of a former convent and an old silk mill. The establishment holds an official label and is one of the oldest museums in Ardèche, with a history dating back to 1875. Its collections cover five areas: geology, archaeology, ethnography, medicine, and local history, revealing the different facets of the Ardèchois Cévennes territory. The museum regularly presents temporary exhibitions and hosts various cultural events (concerts, lectures, screenings). It also offers guided tours on request and by reservation.
