The René De Miscault Spirits Museum is housed in an 18th-century former coaching inn in the heart of the village of Lapoutroie, in Haut-Rhin. It brings together a collection dedicated to the distillation of spirits and liqueurs, presenting equipment from the Miscault distillery founded in 1859, complemented by stills, collections of miniature bottles, rare liqueurs, and historical accessories. The museum, enriched since 1985, offers a presentation of ancient techniques for making fruit spirits. The visit is completed by a complimentary tasting of the house products: spirits, liqueurs, creams, and other spirituous beverages. Located near the Alsace Wine Route, the museum is open year-round.
