The Museum of Life in Former Times, created in 2017 in Ormes-sur-Voulzie in Seine-et-Marne, is a history museum dedicated to French daily life between 1800 and 1950. Occupying 3,500 m², it presents a collection of 70,000 objects, tools and vehicles staged in 105 full-size scenes that recreate the homes, trades and customs of the past from all regions. The museum has been labeled Regional Heritage of Interest since 2023. It offers educational activities, family workshops and temporary exhibitions, complemented by a traditional café-restaurant. The site also houses a replica of the Eiffel Tower measuring 18 meters, built in 1989, which is a major attraction.
