The Bunker of La Rochelle is a history museum housed in a military building dating from 1941, the former headquarters of German submarine officers during World War II. Located in the city center of La Rochelle, in Charente-Maritime, the building has remained intact for eighty years. The museum offers a 280 m² tour presenting the history of La Rochelle from 1939 to 1945, combining the authenticity of the location with museum displays featuring marine murals and arranged spaces. The site offers educational activities, including a treasure hunt for children and a mystery investigation for older visitors. A 360° virtual tour completes the offering, accessible remotely.
