The Protestant Museum of La Rochelle is dedicated to the history of Protestantism in the La Rochelle region, in Aunis and Saintonge. Located in the city's Protestant Temple, it presents its collections through three rooms organized chronologically, covering the main issues of local Protestant history: the Reformation, the Wars of Religion, the Great Siege of 1627-1628, and the period of the Camisard Revolt. The museum complements its offerings with a regular program of lectures and temporary exhibitions.
