The Eco-Peasant House is a local history museum located in Grand-Village-Plage in Charente-Maritime. It brings together a traditional farm and an interpretation center dedicated to ecological housing, from vernacular architecture to contemporary sustainable practices. The site offers guided tours, educational workshops, eco-construction and craft courses, as well as walks and lectures designed to raise awareness among visitors of all ages about eco-citizenship issues. Open to all, it welcomes families, groups and school classes. The establishment operates from April to November and is managed by the inter-municipal community of the Island of Oléron.
