The Faymoreau Mining Centre is an ecomuseum located in Vendée in the Pays-de-la-Loire region. It is dedicated to the history of mining extraction in Vendée and Deux-Sèvres, territories where this activity remains little known. The museum offers guided tours, family activities and educational workshops, as well as temporary exhibitions. It also includes the discovery of the miners' village of corons and the Epagne headframe, witnesses to local mining heritage. The Mining Centre is accessible to all audiences: schools, families, groups and people with disabilities.
