The International Memorial Museum of the Battle of the Atlantic is located in a blockhouse on the Kerbonn cliff in Camaret-sur-Mer, overlooking the sea fifty meters above. Dedicated to the Battle of the Atlantic and to the civilian and military sailors who perished at sea during this major episode of the Second World War, it presents an overview of the conflict through maps, photographs, scale models, mannequins and objects. The collections are documented in four languages: French, English, German and Italian. A large planisphere integrated into the floor illustrates the different stages of the battle. The site is marked nearby by imposing giant anchors and remains located in the Crozon peninsula, a coastal area rich in military and natural heritage.
