The Villèle Museum is a site museum located in Saint-Paul, on Réunion Island. It documents the local history and colonial heritage of the island, with a particular focus on the period of slavery. Its collections are distributed among several heritage spaces: the former master's house, a slave hospital, and the Pointue chapel. The museum has a documentation center and carries out active work to expand its collections. The establishment welcomes the public for self-guided and guided visits, and regularly offers temporary exhibitions.
