The Museum of Resistance in the Forbidden Zone is located in Denain, in the North. It documents the history of the Resistance and liberation in the Nord-Pas-de-Calais region during World War II. Its permanent collections and temporary exhibitions address notably local Resistance, the end of the Nazi concentration camp system, and the challenges of French liberation and reconstruction. The museum offers guided tours by appointment and regular activities, particularly during Heritage Days. Admission is free.
