Musée d'histoire
Les Trois Lacs · Eure · Normandie

The World War Museum, located in Tosny in Eure, is a private history museum dedicated to the Second World War. The museum houses a rich and varied collection including period documents (posters, newspapers, photographs, tickets and currency), authentic uniforms from seven belligerent nations displayed on mannequins in showcases, as well as military equipment such as a tracked vehicle, a Goliath device and a restored V1. The entrance to the site is marked by two German "pepper pot" railway surveillance structures, recovered from Vernon station, each weighing five tonnes. This institution illustrates Normandy's heritage during the 1939-1945 conflict.
