The Alexis Le Gall Cannery Museum, located in Loctudy in Finistère, occupies the site of a former fish canning factory founded in 1901. It traces the history of the sardine industry in Brittany during the first half of the 20th century, preserving the memory of processing activities and working conditions of factory workers. The museum presents over 500 m² of exhibition spaces organized around themes such as family, canning, and trade, combining authentic collections, functioning machinery, and audiovisual media. Managed by the municipality since 2016, it aims to promote this little-known industrial heritage and revitalize the town center of Loctudy. Visitors can enjoy guided tours, either individual or group, complemented by an on-site shop.
