The Museum of Hydroaviation, located in Biscarrosse in the Landes, occupies the site of the former Latécoère air base. A site museum since 2003, it traces the history of the seaplane through permanent and temporary exhibitions. The collections include restored seaplanes, uniforms, archives, engines, propellers and memorabilia associated with great names in aviation such as Saint-Exupéry, Mermoz and Guillaumet. The museum, which occupies 1,250 m² in the historic buildings of the former hydrobase, offers guided tours for families and groups, as well as educational workshops.
