Le petit musée du Canot Automobile

The French Motor Boat Center, located in La Teste-de-Buch in Gironde, is a museum specialized in the heritage of motorboating and vintage motor boats. It houses more than 50 exceptional vessels, including boats from prestigious brands such as Riva, Rio and Chris Craft, as well as scale models, vintage motorcycles and collector vehicles. The venue combines the functions of museum, library and restoration workshop, documenting the technical and aesthetic history of motor pleasure boating since its origins. About ten boats from the collection have received the label of Boat of Heritage Interest, attesting to their recognized historical value. Visits are by appointment, allowing for an in-depth discovery of a maritime heritage often threatened with disappearance.
