The Abbey Museum is located in the heart of the abbatial palace of Gaillac, in Occitania. It brings together collections of art, archaeology, and folk traditions that illustrate the history and wealth of the Gaillac region. Among its remarkable pieces is a Gallo-Roman mosaic bearing witness to the ancient occupation of the site. The thematic tour is organized around two major themes: the commercial power of the former port and the religious power embodied by the Saint-Michel Abbey. Specific sections are dedicated to local expertise, particularly vine cultivation and the traditions of the Compagnons du Devoir.
