The Museum of Art, History and Archaeology of Évreux is housed in a former episcopal palace listed as a Historic Monument, located at the foot of the cathedral. It brings together collections spanning from Prehistory to the 21st century, encompassing archaeology, fine arts, decorative arts, ethnology and contemporary art. Founded approximately 150 years ago around local archaeological discoveries, the museum offers a historical and artistic journey allowing visitors to understand the heritage of Évreux in a broader perspective. Admission is free and the museum regularly offers guided tours and workshops for families and young audiences.
