The Calvet Museum has been recognized since 2002 under the Heritage Code. Located in Avignon, in Vaucluse, it is part of the cultural heritage of the Provence-Alpes-Côte-d'Azur region. The museum comprises two distinct spaces: the Calvet Museum proper and a lapidary museum, dedicated to sculpted and lapidary remains.
